We’re a Vancouver-based technology partner that specifically serves architecture, engineering, and construction firms across North America. We combine deep AEC industry know-how with strategic technology leadership, showing up as invested partners rather than rotating technicians.

Our Story
Resolved was founded by our CEO, Reid McConkey, in 2020 after years of working as a General Manager in the MSP industry. He’d seen how the model worked from the inside, noting how often it left clients underserved with generic support, reactive service, and zero strategic value. He knew there was a better way.
From the start, we built Resolved around a different philosophy: serve as your single source for technology strategy, IT management, and proactive support. Today, we’re a growing team serving AEC firms across North America. Senior enough to advise at board level, hands-on enough to know your team by name.
Along the way we became an AI-native business, not because AI replaced our people, but because it’s woven into how they work. We invested heavily in our own AI capability before ever pointing it at a client’s data, and today our team works in Resolved OS, a custom platform we built ourselves that supports our operations end to end. That work is the foundation of how we help clients adopt AI safely and build custom software around the way they actually work.
How We Work
We run on software we built ourselves
Most MSPs run on someone else’s tools. We built our own. Resolved OS is the custom platform our team works in across the entire client lifecycle, with AI assistance embedded throughout to support the people doing the work.
It’s the clearest proof of what we do for clients: when off-the-shelf tools don’t fit how the work actually flows, we build. We started with ourselves.

Reid McConkey
Managing Partner & CEO
Reid founded Resolved in 2020 on a simple conviction: technology should give a firm time back, not take it. After years as a manager at several managed services firms, he had watched the same gaps repeat, weak customer success, little genuine client connection, and technology decisions disconnected from business outcomes, and he built Resolved to close them. Today he sets the firm’s vision and strategy, leads its move to an AI-first model, and owns the relationships with the leaders the firm serves.

Michael Logan
Partner & COO
Mike has been with Resolved since day one and started his IT career here, beginning as a technician and growing into service manager as the team expanded. While Reid focused on growing the firm, Mike was boots on the ground with clients, and he shaped the Resolved way that the whole team still follows. Today he leads operations and client success, and he has trained, managed, and mentored every member of the current team.

Chris Briggs
Partner & CIO
Chris brings more than 20 years in the industry and is one of the most capable technologists Reid has ever worked with. The two first worked together earlier in their careers, where Chris was the standout engineer on Reid’s team; he later co-founded his own MSP, Open Door MSP, before joining Resolved. His range runs from solving the hardest technical problems to designing sophisticated new solutions, and today he leads AI strategy and solution design, serving as CIO to Managed IT clients and Chief AI Officer to AI clients.
